- Adaptive Toy and Equipment Loan and library - UCP has a variety of developmental toys and activities and pediatric adaptive equipment. These items are available for loan to individuals with developmental disabilities. Adaptive equipment is loaned after consultation with appropriate therapist or physicians. This may include walkers, special chairs or seating, bath chairs, adaptive potty chairs, standers, rocking boards, weighted vests and weighted blankets. The library contains books and videos on a variety of topics including specific disabilities, the early intervention system, special education rights, therapy and treatment approaches and many other areas of interest.

Case managers and developmental therapists are available for consultation regarding appropriate toys and activities to enable the child or individual reach educational and developmental goals. The IFSP and IEP are useful documents in determining appropriate activities. Further assessments can be completed if desired during this process for children and adults. These services are of no cost to the family.
