PURPOSE: The Youth and Family Division is dedicated to helping our youth grow up in healthy family environments and working to educate Macon County residents on youth and family issues.
PROJECTS: This division’s
2006/2007 grant funds were divided among three projects: Healthy
Families Illinois to purchase gifts for a client Christmas Project,
Youth Advocate to purchase child car seats used in transporting client's
children, and to Project Success to purchase items for their homeless
students backpack project. As a service project, the division members
collected items for the backpack project and volunteered during one
meeting to help assemble the backpacks. Youth & Family Grants and Projects 2006-2007
