On Sunday April 18th,
the Elwin UMC will be hosting Austin Carty. Austin is a highly sought after
speaker to businesses, churches, charity events, concerts and schools.
Noted for his contagious enthusiasm and his humorous approach to real-life
issues, Austin is an inspirational speaker with a message focusing on the
benefit of faith, hope and love in a difficult world.
Austin
was born and raised in High Point, NC. At 21, he left school to
self-publish his first novel. In 2009, after a prolonged hiatus, he
graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in English literature from High Point
University.
In 2006 Austin appeared on CBS’s Survivor. He has since become a highly sought after inspirational speaker and travels the country addressing audiences both young and old, Christian and secular. Audiences find his irreverent spin on reverent topics to be both insightful and refreshing. He is currently working on several new projects
