A ministry supported by the First Christian Church in Clinton, IL that assists families in Dewitt County with food, clothing, furniture, appliances and housing.

Seniors Assistance Program of Champaign County

A program that helps senior citizens of Champaign County locate furniture, household items and assists them while moving from their residence to assisted living.

St. John’s Home Health

An outreach of St. John’s Hospital in Springfield proving home nursing care in Decatur & Macon County.

Midwest Mission Distribution Center (MMDC)

An agency of the United Methodist Church located in Chatham, IL that collects and distributes school desks, school bags, flood buckets, health kits, layettes both in the United States and around the world.

Love Packages/ Eagle Nest Ministries

An organization located in Butler, IL that collects and distributes used and outdated Sunday School materials, Christian literature, Bibles, tracts and tapes to English speaking Third World Countries.  In 2005 they shipped over 250 tons.

Habitat for Humanity (Macon, Champaign & Sangamon County)

A worldwide ministry that partners with low income families in the building and financing of adequate housing through the help of volunteers.

Camp Maranatha, RR Pana, IL

A non-denominational church camp that provides spiritual guidance for inner city children. The camp uses college students for counselors and role models. Open from May to September.

First Call For Help

First Call for Help is an information and referral services of the United Way. With a computerized database of Macon & Dewitt County programs and agencies, a simple call can link people to needed services. First Call for Help is funded by the United Way of Decatur, Human Service Agency Consortium (HSAC), the Macon County Mental Health Board, and the Macon County Health Department. We’ll eliminate the confusion and frustration of calling all over town- we want to be your next-to-last call. First Call for Help is a free and confidential service dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and promoting community connectedness.

   

We offer furniture, household items and appliances to victims of fire, natural disasters and other circumstances that leave them with nothing. 

We are able to provide hospital beds, wheelchairs, walkers, canes and other items at no cost with the help of Hospital Sisters in Springfield, IL. Brad Walton, 741-3222

We have no paid staff and all our assistance and goods are given without charge.
